Partner Portal Updates
We are pleased to announce the release of the following Partner Portal updates.
What's new
Fewer Required Fields in the Go Plus MPA
The process of sending out Go Plus MPAs (Merchant Processing Agreements) is now easier than ever. From this point forward, only the DBA (Doing Business As) and Email fields need to be filled out before users can share the form with their merchants.
Alternative Payment Methods
Users now have the capability to apply markups to different transaction types. This feature opens doors to greater flexibility and profitability.
Plaid Integration
Go Plus merchants now have the option to connect their accounts to us via Plaid. Instead of manually entering their information, merchants can now utilize the Plaid integration, making the process more convenient and seamless. This feature is available both on the Partner Portal and via the Partner Portal API.
Linked User Feature
Our new Linked User feature allows users to assign specific Partner Portal roles to their employees, enabling them with the appropriate level of permission.
Settings Tab
In the new Settings tab, you’ll find two sub-tabs: Security and Account Settings. The Security sub-tab leads to the existing MFA settings. Under Account Settings, you’ll see two additional sub-tabs: Account Boarding, which lets agents generate a sandbox key for the Cardknox Go Boarding API, and Webhooks, where they can set up account webhooks.
Post-Approval Docs in Files Tab
Merchants can now view post-approval app docs in the Partner Portal. In practice, this means that when a document is added to QA after an account is approved, it will now be located in the Files tab.
Other improvements
More Specific Email Notifications
We’ve reorganized email settings to enable more specific notifications. New categories include Equipment Emails, Invoice Emails, Merchant Anniversary Emails, Onboarding Emails, Ticket Emails, and Send Pricing Analysis Emails to Additional Email. If users need assistance setting up these notifications, they can reach out to Agent Support or Sales Team Support.
Go Plus Onboarding Change
We introduced two new account verification checks (TIN and GIACT) within the Go Plus MPAs. If either check fails and requires further action, agents will be responsible for contacting the appropriate merchant and gathering updated information. This update will secure and streamline our account onboarding process.
